I made this painting of the cherry blossom trees along the Hocking River in Athens, Ohio. This time of year is so special. The trees are in full bloom and you see people from the community out enjoying it, picnicking, biking, and walking by the river. It’s one of my favorite seasons, so I wanted to capture the moment and turn that memory into a painting.
